Our Mission
Our mission is to improve quality of life and promote health and wellness in the Augusta and Kennebec Valley of Maine.
We are committed to providing the appropriate facilities, programs and services to restore the physically disadvantaged and injured individuals to Better health and wellness.
Through Advanced Health Physical Therapy & Fitness (AHPTF) which is a division of the Light of Life Ministries, we have been able to serve our communities for over 28 years.
Our Project
We are in urgent need of funds so we can complete the construction process of the
HEALING WATERS POOL in Augusta, Maine.
We have started the construction process but due to the lack of funds we have not been able to complete all that is needed to complete the facility
Our research shows that there are no facilities that offer a warm 91-92° F salt water pool available to the public in the Augusta Maine area.
So we recognize that there is a need for it and we want to present all the details in the next few pages.
Volunteers needed
In order to do a big push with our Capital Campaign we are in immediate need for the following Volunteer talent to complete our Vision and Mission.

Experience in Marketing

Office work with photocopying, cutting, stuffing presentation folders

Experiences with Facebook, website creating/designing, or Power-point presentations

Experience with the public and businesses

Coming alongside and assisting the Director of the project, also serve in any shape or form to make a difference with the goal of completing this project

Light of Life Ministries, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation founded in 1984 and located in Augusta, Maine. One of our core beliefs is that every person in need deserves the opportunity to reach their highest functional level, optimum health and well-being.
With the existing Physical Therapy and Fitness programs offered through AHPTF, we are able to provide programs that strive for the highest quality and are dedicated to holistic and lifelong health and fitness planning. We have been helping the citizens of Augusta and Kennebec Valley reach their optimum healthy function regardless of their age since 1989.
The goal of the dedicated, caring staff is to help the community be fit and healthy for life! A new warm water therapy program is one of the missing pieces in achieving this goal for our patients and our community. These programs will be accessible to the public as well.
The warm water therapy pool will provide resources that are currently unavailable in the forms of:
a) A comprehensive physical, health, and wellness education programs and specialty facility (including a Warm Salt Water Therapy Pool (91-92° F), a unique Hot Tub/Cold Tub treatment, Sauna, and gym) for those that are physically challenged and are of all ages.
b) Creating an atmosphere of wellness that will affect the culture in Augusta and surrounding communities.
The Goal of the project is assisting citizens to get well and stay well, from the smallest child to the oldest citizen, especially those physically disadvantaged.
